Ever since I was young, I have had a passion for art. This and helping others is what has led me to pursue a degree in Art Therapy. I mainly enjoy painting and drawing, but have experience in ceramics and explored a variety of other art styles. I hope by sharing my passion, others too can experience the power and beauty of art.

This is a self portrait I drew to encompass the love and freedom I felt at the time.

In the drawing, the tearing of the page symbolizes a profound opening of both the heart and mind. The deliberate rips and frayed edges represent the breaking down of old barriers, allowing for a raw and honest exploration. The twirling figure with its flowing dress and hair emphasize the joy of this new experience while the writing describes the love I feel in a continuous verse that never ends.

Self-discovery, 2022

I painted this self-portrait during a time I struggled in finding myself. In this self-portrait, the black and white hues reflect the duality of my emotional state during my search for identity. The contrast between shadows and highlights show the tension between doubt and moments of clarity. The positioning of the figure further emphasizes this internal conflict, capturing the vulnerability and strength in my journey of self-discovery.

Set Me Free, 2022

This artwork is a mixed-media piece that represents a mother letting her daughter fly, setting her free. The hand drawing is a reference from my mother’s and the butterfly symbolizes me. My mother is a great inspiration of mine and someone that I can always go to for anything. She has taught me so much and spread my wings so I could fly in this universe and find my way through it.
